Britt has been working as a professional vocalist, voice coach and unprofessional interpretive dancer for fifteen years. She's the lead singer of South City, playing over 300 weddings, events and festivals nationally. She loves anything blues, roots, soul and pop, performing covers and loves working as a song writer for Nashville publishers group.
Growing up as a passionate Blues and Rock guitarist, Jake left his home in country Victoria and headed for Melbourne to get his Bachelor’s Degree of Music Performance at Box Hill Institute. Jake has toured extensively with his original band King River Rising, receiving strong Triple J and community radio airplay, and plays with his 11 piece band The Winfield Road Experiment.

South City Music is a Pop | Blues | Soul band formed in the heart of Melbourne at the beginning of 2013 and we've loved playing many of Melbourne's well known live music venues, festivals and events.
South City’s shows are soulful, fun and beat driven with our varied setlists covering songs from Stevie Wonder to The Teskey Brothers to Whitney to Chappell Roan. We want our audience to dance! Arm flailing, hips shaking, twerkin' and workin' it - singing at the top of your lungs.
You can book us as a Duo or Trio depending on the vibe you want for your corporate or private event. We can play relaxed, ambient tunes as guests arrive, a soulful, romantic setlist as you walk down the aisle to your favourite song, sign the registry or bring the energy with an exit song that will make all your guests stand, dance and cheer.
